バイオマス

動植物から生まれた再生可能な有機性資源のこと。代表的なものに家畜排泄物や生ゴミ、木くず、もみがらがある。バイオマスを用いた燃料は、バイオ燃料（biofuel）またはエコ燃料（ecofuel）と呼ばれている。
